Your instructor at Pronto Driving School is Phil Kellett. He is a family man who has helped raise a son and two daughters with his wife Sharon. The kids have all left home now so they have filled the void by hosting International students in their home, which is a great pleasure. In catering to the individual needs of international students Phillip has developed a skill-set for dealing with people of differing personalities, ethnicity and language. He believes this experience transfers well when communicating with local and international young adults in a learning environment.
 
Prior to Pronto Driving School Phil was a senior sales representative at BHP and then BlueScope Steel. Through these well recognised businesses he continues to benefit from the professional training they provided, particularly in the areas of people and business management. Additionally he participated in a variety of driver training courses conducted by these businesses during his time from which he learned a great deal about driving to survive.
 
He believes that driving is one of the more hazardous endeavours most of us do on a daily basis. So other than just the act of driving itself, his driver training programs include a certain level of instruction to help his students avoid getting involved in the mistakes of other drivers, as well as developing in them the right approach to avoid becoming, “that other driver” themselves.
